Yesterday went pretty well. I'm really pleased with the way this is going. Of course that's easy to say now, when it's the seventh of November. We'll see if I still feel that way when it gets closer to the end of the month.

The scene I'm writing next should be a fun one for me (not so much for the characters), and then I get to remind my Heroine that, oh yeah, she's in danger. I'm excited. |

I can't wait for this damn movie, okay. Y'all, I have missed seeing him on screen, for real. Also, next year we get Iron Man 2 and From Paris With Love (JRM OM NOM NOM NOM) and... I'm certain there's others but so far that's my trifecta (RDJ, JRM, and... Topher. WHY CAN'T YOU HAVE FUN INITIALS, MR. GRACE, GOD).
And unrelatedly: Stephenie Meyer is going to be on Oprah next Friday.

1. I'm starting to lose interest in our line, and I think that you sense that. It's clear that you were trying to subtly influence me to stick around during our OOC chats, which would be understandable...except it's not so subtle anymore. Guilt-tripping me might keep me around for another couple of weeks, but you can't force me to maintain interest. Especially not by outright coming at me with talk about how you would be "destroyed" if our line ended and dropping ridiculous hints about how "you just don't know how you'd move on."
I'm playing your girl's boyfriend, we are not actually in a relationship. I am totally not one of those "don't talk to me OOC ever" types of writers, but that doesn't give you license to get offended when I don't want to divulge details from my personal life to you. You are starting to creep me out, and I don't deserve this escalating emotional blackmail that's going on.
2. Man, I love the line that my celeb has with one person at the comm he's in, but one line does not a community make. I can feel my motivation to play him waning, and I'd love to approach this person for a PSL before I leave, but I'm shy. We didn't know each other before I joined this game, and I don't want to seem creepy. |
